The crater was formed due to the eruption of a large caldera volcano which erupted and collapsed on itself approximately 2-3 million years ago. ClimateThe area is high in humidity and has a normal temperature. The Wet Season consists of November to May where the levels of rain vary as well as the humidity. The Dry Season in the area is between June and October, during the Dry Season the temperature during the day is around 19 Degrees Celsius.
