Formation ProcessMt Everest formed from the crashing of continents during the continental drift period, the joining of the continents. The two continents that crashed were the country now known as India and Laurasia now the continent Asia. Evidence has shown that the mountain did not just slip beneath India like layers of paper but actually Southeast Asia and China held the pressure as long as they could.

Fauna/WildlifeThe Fauna of Mount Everest is not diverse and does not vary due to the cold weather and freezing conditions but big mammals such as the Yak lives in parts of Mount Everest. These yaks are sometimes used to haul equipment for climbers, these species can haul up to 100 kilograms it also has thick fur and large lungs, good for high altitude breathing.
